An article about " Buy house on the outskirts of the city "

 Buy
There are several advantages of buying a home at a location that is away from the crowds and the pollution of the city. You have a wider choice and that too in each price segment. From premium projects offering plush penthouses and duplexes to affordable residences with compact flats and studio apartments, the entire housing spectrum gets covered. A range of project amenities too are provided at varying levels, depending on the nature of the project.
Affordable housing is the current mantra for home seekers and fringe areas have suddenly been witnessing more real estate development, this has also brought around a shift in the attitude of home seekers. From the earlier scenario where peripheral locations were shunned because they entailed a longer commute to work, a grudging acceptance of ground realities began to take place. With the one missing link township projects by established builders falling in place, fringe locations or peripheral areas have been gaining acceptance.
The rationale is simple in itself. A correction in prices coupled with lower home loan rates has made it possible for any new couple to start life in their own home, rather than spend their initial years 10 leased accommodation. The longer commute is balanced against the amenities and facilities provided in township projects.
People do not mind staying at a location that entails a longer commute to work. What really counts is the quality of life that the location and the specific project offer to residents. Factors like a tranquil ambience, amenities, high security levels that provide peace of mind and lush greenery play a decisive role in shaping purchase decisions these days.
In fact, several families have even worked out that purchasing a car to ensure a hassle free commute to work from a peripheral area is much more feasible and practical than trying to buy a home at prime locations even in the current market scenario.
Mumbai Scenario
What makes a big difference is the nature of Mumbai's extended areas. Thanks to the excellent connectivity and development of shopping, entertainment and education facilities, most of them are self contained in a manner of speaking. This is why it is no longer considered taboo to buy a home at Vasai-Virar on the western line, an emerging area of Thane on the central line or Navi Mumbai for that matter, a fact borne out by the immensely successful real estate exhibitions recently held at both places. The events witnessed unprecedented crowds as home seekers visited each stall, mentioned their budget and asked about the options each builder was offering in that range. Most of them were second time visitors, who had literally dragged their spouses and family members to the exhibition because their 'dream home' finally seemed within reach.
